Joint-stock company (public or private)
Number of partners: A minimum of 2 shareholders. For closed joint-stock companies, there is a maximum of 50 shareholders. For open joint-stock companies, there is no limit of shareholders.
Capital (max/min): The minimum size of the authorized capital for joint stock companies is 400 base amounts.
For closed corporations - 100 base amounts.
Shareholders and liability: Liability is limited to the shares.
Limited Liability Company
Number of partners: A minimum of 1 and a maximum of 50 founders.
Capital (max/min): No minimum capital required.
Shareholders and liability: Liability is limited to the amount contributed.
Sole proprietorship
Number of partners: 1 (an individual or a legal entity).
Capital (max/min): No minimum capital required.
Shareholders and liability: Liability is unlimited.
